Sussex Wildlife Trust Business E-Newsletter
Issue 1 - June 2007
Welcome to the first issue of our monthly e-newsletters, created to keep you up-to-date with how the Sussex Wildlife Trust (SWT) is working with local businesses to enhance the Wildlife of Sussex.
In the Latest News section we will focus on projects, share our successes and let you know about opportunities to get involved in our work.
In Wildlife News we will give you some seasonal wildlife information so you can look out of the window and get a sense of what’s keeping nature busy at the moment.
And we’ll also list our Events and Courses, keeping you informed of forthcoming attractions, ranging from Family Fun Pond Dips to Nature Photography courses.
Please let me know what you think and what you’d like to see featured in the newsletter, and feel free to forward it onto any contacts you think would be interested! The more people we get thinking and inspired about their natural surroundings the better!
Arriving at the start of every month, I hope the newsletter helps to bring Wildlife into your offices!
Many thanks to Academy Internet for helping to produce it!
Best wishes,
Michael

Not all of you are in the fortunate position to look out of your window and be greeted by fields and woodland but that isn’t to say there isn’t wildlife still fighting the good fight just outside your sheet of glass.
At first sight, our towns may not seem to be havens for wildlife but take a closer look and you will be surprised at the wealth of life that can be sustained in urban parks, little areas of waste ground, and especially gardens.
These all act as little oases where creatures can find food, shelter and places to nest. Each month SWT Wildlife Information Officer, Laura Bristow, will give a quick run down on interesting wildlife to watch out for wherever you are.
